Ventura County, California is one of the most diverse counties in the nation. It is located just north of Los Angeles County and stretches from the Santa Paula Mountains on its east side, west to the blue Pacific Ocean. Once one of the major citrus growing areas in California, Ventura County’s citrus groves are slowing being replaced throughout the county with beautiful residential developments, commercial centers, schools, industry, transportation centers, high tech centers and more. This is due to its prime location just 63 miles north of Los Angeles.

This area has some of the finest recreational options of anywhere in Southern California. It sits on the Pacific Ocean coastline, south of the City of Santa Barbara and just north of the city of Malibu. It offers some of the finest surfing, boating, snorkeling, and fishing in California. Its weather is ideally warm all year long and its beaches are secluded and un-crowded. It has rolling green hills and valleys and higher mountains for it residents to enjoy all year. Snow and all the winter sports are located just a few hours east of the county in the San Bernardino Mountains, or north in Mammoth and Lake Tahoe. Outdoor sports options are unlimited with rivers, creeks, campgrounds, state parks and old meandering dirt roads everywhere for hiking, biking, horseback riding or just exploring.

Throughout Ventura County you can find beautiful homes including beach front homes, gated community homes, golf course homes, modern condominium complexes, town homes and luxury apartments and senior complexes. You can find beautiful and unique large country style single family homes with locations among the orange and lemon groves, olive groves and even river and creekside homes. Towns like Camarillo, Somis, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Oxnard and downtown Ventura are offering modern single family homes, custom built homes, apartments, condos and town homes priced to sell and sell fast. The smaller towns have been able to expand and construct new homes, parks, schools and still maintain the original small town atmosphere of years gone by.

Ventura County is a great place to live and to work and an even better place to raise a family in a beautiful and natural environment of mountains, green valleys, untouched beaches, citrus groves, rivers, creeks and 100 year old oak trees along meandering dirt roads.
