Santa Paula

Santa Paula

Situated just east of  Ventura, Santa Paula is a rapidly growing community, with developments springing up amongst the Orange Grove and farmlands. This community was once known as the Citrus Capital.

The local economy is mostly agriculturally based with Lemon, Orange and advocado groves.  In fact Santa Paula is the headquarters for Calavo Growers, Inc.  The local Mediterranean climate with an estimated 20 feet (6.1 m) of topsoil have made it one of the best locations for growing citrus. And for relocating homeowners seeking a mild climate to call home.
